It's been a while.....where does time go to? How many times do we find ourselves wondering what we did with all those hours. Precious time that we will never have again. I do take photo's to remind myself. We had snow last month. In fact it's snowing again right now, blowing, piling up in little drifts on the window ledges. I took the dog for walks, feeling intrepid snuggled into warm clothes, thick socks and wellies to keep my feet dry. We are snug and warm today though, my fur babies and me. It's good to feel cosy and not having to venture into the chill air.
I have lit a perfumed candle, lavender and lemon. Fresh with a reminder of warmer weather ahead. For now I shall curl up with my book, cup of milky coffee and maybe a biscuit to nibble on. Simple things are absolutely the very best things in life.
